Mrs. Peeler and I have enjoyed working with your child this year. The students worked hard and it shows. Have them continue to practice the skills they learned this year so that they can be successful in their next grade level.
OKay, my Busy Bee Workers, don't let the bees wax clog your brain. These are a few things you can do this summer to keep you on target.
- Read everyday for at least 20 minutes - Don't forget the summer reading program. Log those books that you read to get a t-shirt. -Write a sentence everyday about something that you did. You have your word dictionary at home with you. Use it. Don't forget to illustrate. -Practice counting to 100 by ones, fives and tens. -Make up your own math stories and use number bonds and equations.
Have a super summer - be safe and we'll see you in the fall. With Love, Mrs. Wilkins' and Mrs. Peeler
